Mangroves Planted
Located in Pakistan, across the Indus Delta, this large-scale mangrove reforestation program is restoring around 226,000 hectares of degraded delta banks with remnant mangrove forest. This project has been operational for six years and has restored more than 86,000 hectares of degraded mangrove forests and tidal wetlands. This project also helps improve the life and health of tens of thousands of locals and has already provided safe water for a population of 49,000 people across 60 villages.
